The Challenge
Famed for its beautiful location in Newby Bridge, Lake District, the four-star Swan Hotel recently underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment of its restaurant, pub and function suites. An important element of the development programme was the installation of air conditioning as part of the conversion of a number of bedrooms into a Luxury Spa and Conference Room, and to meet the increasing demand for luxury weekend breaks. myclimate was given the task of designing and installing a discreet climate control solution.
The team at myclimate proposed a concealed ducted system, which as well as being extremely versatile, has the added benefit of being visually unobtrusive. The sleek stylish units feature small vents to direct the airflow. The climate in each treatment room and conference room can be individually controlled to suit the customer’s needs, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment for relaxation or business, all year round.
